Bureau Veritas Exhibits at the 7th SADC Industrial Week, Strengthening Regional Trade and Industry Ties

Bureau Veritas is the mandated service provider for implementing shipment control of new and used telecommunication equipment and products with telecommunication functions exported to Tanzania under the Eco-Levy Programme. 

Zanzibar: Bureau Veritas has been appointed by the Zanzibar Bureau of Standards (ZBS) for the Verification of Conformity Programme.  

Bureau Veritas has been notified to issue Certificates of Conformity for various product groups exported to Botswana. Under the SCSR Programme, Bureau Veritas conducts verification of conformity to standards, physical inspections and sampling in the country of supply prior to shipment, laboratory testing when needed, and issuance of certificates. 

Bureau Veritas is mandated for the Pre-export Verification of Imports (PVoC) to enhance compliance with Congolese or international standards. This includes import eligibility conducted by the Congolese Control Office (OCC), visual inspection, control testing when necessary, documentary review, price analysis, and customs valuation of goods. Bureau Veritas Inspection Valuation Assessment & Control (BIVAC), ensures that goods exported to the DRC meet these standards, maintaining the quality and safety of products entering the country.  

In Zimbabwe, Bureau Veritas’ Government Services is mandated by the government of Zimbabwe to implement the Consignment Based Conformity Assessment (CBCA) Programme which ensures compliance of imported products to international standards.
